Adventure World now Lindblad Expeditions GSA

The Travel Corporation’s (TTC) Adventure World has been appointed the exclusive General Sales Agent in Australia, New Zealand and Asia for Lindblad Expeditions.

Citing further growth plans, the iconic expedition brand will expand its reach in the local Australasian market with the extensive operating and distribution power of the TTC owned Adventure World business.

Lindblad’s Global Business Development Director, Jeremy Lindblad, said the move to Adventure World gives immediate scope to rapidly expand the business by accessing their extensive preferred consortia agreements, diverse aligned land product portfolios, wholesale airfare agreements, and expert sales, marketing & reservations teams.

“This partnership will also allow us to extend our reservations opening hours, including Saturdays, and their dedicated office in Auckland will allow us to specifically service and develop our New Zealand business,” Lindblad stated.

Adventure World General Manager, Neil Rodgers, added “Lindblad Expeditions are trailblazers and truly offer the world’s ultimate expedition experiences. Both our travel ethos are intrinsically linked and we share a dedicated passion for authentic and responsible travel in the destinations we operate.”

Adventure World has a strong existing partnership with The National Geographic Society as publisher of National Geographic Traveller Magazine and as partner of the National Geographic World Legacy Awards.

Beginning on 8 August 2016 all Lindblad Expeditions reservations and operations will be conducted through Adventure World. All contact details remain unchanged and all existing and quoted travel bookings will continue as normal.
