Helloworld celebrates winners as summit concludes
The 2015 Helloworld Owner Managers Summit (OMS) in Wellington finished up last night with the agency group’s annual awards dinner, and confirmation that next year’s event would take place in Singapore.
More than 600 Helloworld members, suppliers and sponsors came together for the event which head of branded networks Julie Primmer deemed a “huge success”.
“Our members have been provided with valuable knowledge and experience to harness their full potential,” she said.
“It was fantastic to see so many attendees inspired and excited to take advantage of the number of marketing, technology and training initiatives available to them as part of the Helloworld network.”
Among the speakers motivating delegates were one of the most respected figures in Australian sport Paul Roos, chief executive of Air New Zealand Christopher Luxon, global training expert and chief executive of PeopleInProgress Terry Hawkins, chief executive of Carnival Australia Ann Sherry AO, Industry head of travel of Google Dougal McKenzie, and web celeb Kylie Bartlett.
Many of the attendees took advantage of the opportunity to update their NZ knowledge by participating in a famil program organised by Helloworld, Qantas Holidays/viva! Holidays and Tourism New Zealand. Some will visit the home of Lord of the Rings in Wellington, others will head to Queenstown or the Fiordland National Park to visit Milford Sound.
The event concluded with an awards dinner, where both branded and associate winners were revealed across six categories.
“Our Owner Managers Summit is a time to inspire and invigorate our members for the future and also a time to celebrate the success with our members and suppliers, head of associate networks David Padman said.
“Our annual Awards Dinner is important recognition of the best of the best within the Helloworld network.
“Congratulations to all of our winners and thank you to everyone who attended our OMS this year. A special thank you to our major sponsors who helped make the weekend such a huge success.”
