Agents can’t contain excitement about new blog

Excite is keeping up to speed with what the industry wants, launching a new training and information portal.

As a result of its annual travel agent survey, the online travel wholesaler has listened to agents’ calls for more in-depth industry knowledge, and kickstarted a blog to provide travel agents with destination information and travel guides that they can use to improve their own knowledge, or pass onto their clients.

Excite Holidays’ training and information portal will also feature in-depth interviews with industry experts, selling hints and tips, the wholesaler’s latest incentives and famil opportunities, fun quizzes and competitions, as well as the company’s latest technology innovations.

The articles are written by Excite Holidays’ content team and published in collaboration with the travel wholesaler’s tourism board, hotel and travel technology partners.

And you can check out the cool new blog here.

“The launch of this information and training portal is an extraordinary value add for our travel agents. We want to help agents become subject matter experts and enable them to gain business, increase revenue and close more sales,” director of sales and marketing Joana Bonto said.

“By providing this additional content, both for agents and their clients, we believe we can help our travel agent partners in the ongoing battle to keep their clients and win business from online booking sites.”
