Tramada has teamed up with Expedia Travel Agent Affiliate Program (TAAP) to streamline consultant workflows.

By developing new technology, agents will be able to make bookings through Expedia, which are then easily important in Tramada.

“Expedia TAAP offers agents not only access to Expedia’s global inventory but the ability to earn commission on hotels, dynamic packages and activities booked on the program,” Tramada’s head of product management John Tran said.

“When we surveyed our clients to find out the most important content providers for us to work with the Expdedia TAAP was the top priority for leisure and corporate agents alike”.

Expedia travel agent distribution APAC’s manager Stuart Udy added that the program will work to better agent experience.

“The TAAP program is gaining significant market traction in our region,” he said.

“Our product helps our travel agency clients to access a huge inventory of hotel content from around the world at the best prices which in turn assists agents in in keeping their customers coming back.”

With the drive in process efficiency, the developments have removed the inefficiency that comes with consultants manually creating segments, while helping to eliminate user errors.

“Expedia TAAP integration is a very welcome addition and so easy to use – within a couple of clicks we have an entire hotel costing with all the hotel’s details, correct dollar values and commissions imported – it’s working very well for us!” owner and director of Main Beach Travel and MBT Corporate Mandy Dwyer added.

“Consultants can focus on customers without being bogged down with administrative tasks.”

In the ever changing world of travel and technology, Tran highlighted the importance of keeping up with the times as a travel agent.

“Our agencies recognise that as their businesses evolve they need to be assured that their technology will grow and evolve with them, no other provider in Australia or New Zealand does this the way we do at Tramada,” he said.
