A White Woolly New Year

A White Woolly New Year

Southern Discoveries will celebrate the Chinese Year of the Sheep with a woolly group of guests at Mt Nicholas Farm.

In the next three weeks, travellers will share their Mt Nicholas visit with 500 merino sheep, the woolly ‘stars’ of the ‘Running of the Wools’ as part of the Hilux Rural games.

Visitors will be able to get sheepy snaps with the woolly creatures and guests will also be greeted upon arrival with two pet sheep and a sheepdog named Belle.

In keeping with Chinese New Year tradition, Southern Discoveries will also be giving Chinese guests to Milford and Queenstown a lucky red envelope and chocolate gold coin, symbols of good blessings and happiness.
