Novotel Sydney Central reveals refurb

Novotel Sydney Central has completed a multi-million dollar refurbishment and heralded the revival of the overlooked inner-city suburb Haymarket.

The refurbishment includes hotel rooms, bathrooms, pool and the lobby of the property.

“Novotel Sydney Central is in a prime position to take advantage of the regeneration of the suburb,” Novotel Sydney Central general manager Danesh Bamji said.

The hotel is accredited by Accor’s Chinese Optimum Standards which means Chinese guests receive translated information, Chinese menus, newspapers, maps and guides.

“We’re an even more attractive hotel for Chinese guests which sets us apart from our competitors in the area,”Bamji said.

Bamji conceded that Haymarket has been seen as a transient suburb, overshadowed by neighbouring Darling Harbour and Chinatown.

“Haymarket is going to become one of the city’s most exciting precincts, surrounded by cutting edge architecture, exciting new restaurant and retail areas,” he said.
