China Southern celebrates aircraft upgrade
By admin

China Southern Airlines held an industry event in Perth last night to mark the introduction of Airbus A330-223 aircraft on its Perth-Guangzhou route.

Perth and Brisbane have become the airline's first Australian ports to receive the new aircraft, with an A380 to be deployed on its Sydney route in October.

Speaking at the event at Fraser's in Kings Park, regional general manager Australia & New Zealand Henry He said China Southern is proud to offer the only direct connection between Perth and mainland China.

"On our Canton Route, we offer Western Australians direct access to our extensive domestic network and onward travel to nearly 200 destinations around the world," he said.

"And with the brand new A330-223s on the Perth run, the journey from Perth to Guangzhou has become even more enjoyable."
