Travel advisors treated to crash course on Swiss rail travel in Canberra
Edited by Travel Weekly

A select group of travel advisors were treated to a special Rail Europe update on Switzerland’s transportation system at QT Hotel in Canberra yesterday.

The group were introduced to the new director of Switzerland tourism, Sandra Babey and given the full run down on the function and benefits of using the Swiss Travel Pass.

The Swiss travel pass is the easiest way to get around the nations expansive public transportation network as well as enjoy the scenery that the many panoramic train journeys have to offer.

Given the popularity of Switzerland among Australian travellers and with the Swiss Travel Pass being one of Rail Europe’s highest selling passes, GM of APAC Richard Leonard and key account manager, Grant Robertson also ensured advisors were thoroughly acquainted with Rail Europe’s intuitive booking platform, round-the-clock support, regular incentives, and the ongoing educational programs to equip them with the latest information and selling tools.

Advisors are advised that the next Swiss Travel System webinar focusing on the country’s panoramic trains will take place on 24 October, where top selling agents will be in for a chance to win a spot on a luxury famil to experience some of Switzerland’s top rail journeys in early 2024.

Advisors who haven’t done so are encouraged to get their login to the Rail Europe booking tool to allow for seamless commission payments; and sign up to Rail Europe’s monthly webinars and closed Facebook group to access exclusive incentives and offers.
