Tourism Tasmania appoints Red Havas to lead global PR

Red Havas has been appointed as the global communications agency for Tourism Tasmania, responsible for the delivery of global PR strategy and coordination across key markets.

Working closely with Tourism Tasmania, Red Havas is work towards encouraging key international markets to experience the freedom, excitement and unique curiosity of Tasmania by developing a global communications program that will build awareness of the Tasmania brand and drive visitation. 

Led by the Australian-based team, the global remit will be activated by the Red Havas network in New Zealand, United Kingdom and Singapore, with the United States supported on a campaign basis alongside the reappointed PR agency Julie Earle-Levine Consulting. 

“Tasmania is a travel destination that punches well above its weight in terms of stories and experiences,” CEO, Tourism Tasmania, Sarah Clark, said.”

The Red Havas Global Hub based in Australia will be collaborating with Tourism Tasmania’s marketing team and global agency network to develop a global communications program, including PR and content development, media relations, publicity, advocacy and influencer relationships.
