    In the last week, searches for ‘running shorts’ have increased by 82 per cent! Fitness holidays are in high demand with over 200K searches (Google, TikTok and Instagram) but of all the fitness travel trends ‘trail running’ is the peak of popularity with searches up 50 per cent since the start of 2024!

    So which cities have the most running trails for a perfect running lovers’ getaway?

    Women’s activewear brand OCEANSAPART, has delved into the into the number of running trails as well as other factors that enhance a holiday across 20 of the most popular bucket list destinations globally, to determine the best locations for running enthusiasts.

    London: Prime Destination for Running Tourism

    London may come second on the list of top travel destinations for runners – with over 600 running trails – but it’s a prime spot for sightseeing on your run! From the Thames to Primrose hill, and Regent’s canal, every running trail is filled with history, making London the perfect destination for runners who love to indulge in tourism too.

    Hawaii: The Ultimate Scenic Running Destination

    With 567 running trails, Hawaii comes in third. One of the most naturally beautiful locations in the world, even non-runners could be inspired to go for a run here! Across mountains and along the coast, to valleys and forests, you could never get bored on a running holiday here.
