Sabre targets Asia Pacific growth with latest hire

    Sabre Corporation, a leading software and technology provider that powers the global travel industry today announced that experienced industry leader Rajiv Bhatia has joined Sabre to help advance its growth strategy in Asia Pacific.

    Rajiv, formerly of Bird Group, joins as executive director, APAC Market Expansion and will be instrumental in further expanding Sabre’s footprint in key growth markets, including India, one of the world’s fastest-growing travel marketplaces.

    With extensive experience in the travel space, Bhatia brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success to Sabre’s dynamic, customer-centric team. He began his career working for renowned airlines Gulf Air and Thai Airways. Most recently, he was chief commercial officer of Bird Group’s India GDS business, where he served for 16 years.
