Rodeo Drive lighting celebration kickstarts festive season attractions for Christmas 2023 in Beverly Hills

    As the US approaches a wintery Christmas, the City of Beverly Hills and the Rodeo Drive Committee have announced the return of the annual Rodeo Drive Holiday Lighting Celebration.

    The event will kickstart the festive season on 16 November featuring a live performance from Emmy Award-winning actor and singer, Sheryl Lee Ralph.

    Now a tradition on Rodeo Drive, thousands are expected to gather on the street known for its incredible access to the world’s best luxury and high-end fashion brands.

    Kay Monica Rose, the president of the Rodeo Drive Committee was excited to reveal the 2023 theme, “The reveal of this year’s decor-themed Up Up and Away Holiday! celebrates the start of the holiday season and brings together our community and visitors to Rodeo Drive,” she said.

    Rodeo Drive will come alive with mesmerising interactive roaming performers, roller-skating holiday packages will whiz by, towering peppermint stilts will dazzle onlookers as they parade in their striking candy-inspired attire, while an abundance of delectable food, a wine garden and fanciful photo opportunities will engage guests throughout the evening.

    Holiday festivities will continue throughout the city until 1 January 2024 including a number of engaging attractions:

    • The Glowing Gardens – a giant tree and ornament sculpture showcase at the Beverly Cañon Gardens Park.
    • Lights on the Lily Pond – a lighting feature every 15 minutes from 6  pm – 9:30 pm in Beverly Gardens Park.
    • Unwrap the Magic – a projection show every half hour from 6 pm – 9:30 pm on the walls of the Beverly Hills City Hall Tower.

    There is also a family-friendly holiday celebration for children of all ages on Saturday 2 December and Sunday 3 December from 10 am to 4:30 pm at Greystone Mansion and Gardens.
