Aussie travellers are embracing rail travel as an eco-friendly alternative offering immersive, slow travel experiences.

Rail tour operator, Railbookers, is experiencing a booking boom surpassing its pre-COVID numbers.

As a result, the Railbookers and Amtrak Vacations brands have seen historic growth and success.

The group has seen growth of more than 25 per cent in its passenger numbers alongside a revenue increase of 135 per cent in comparison to the same date range through 24 November 2019.
