Quest begins WA expansion with West Perth launch
By admin

The opening of Quest West Perth marks the start of the service apartment firm’s expansion in Western Australia, with a further three properties to open this year.

The new property, located at 54 Kings Park Road, opened yesterday becoming Quest’s second Perth property after the Quest on Rheola.

Once complete, the four property expansion will add a further 395 rooms to Perth’s hotel supply.

Quest chief executive Zed Sanjana stressed that the expansion coincides with the state’s advance on the global business stage.

“With so many large scale projects in the pipeline, the City of Perth is sure to see a dramatic transformation over the next ten years, reflecting the growing global importance of the city, bringing more commercial space and therefore a greater workforce into the Perth CBD,” he said.

“The state of Western Australia is at the forefront of research in a number of key technologies for the global economy over the next decade; including oil and gas exploration, energy storage, renewable energy, advanced robotics and autonomous vehicle development. With these highly specialised fields accounting for 46% of industry, there is now an opportunity to develop complimentary industries in the region, including accommodation, tourism and health care.”

Sanjana highlighted a number of other major redevelopment projects including the $1 billion Gateway WA project, the $2 billion Fiona Stanley Hospital and the $1.2 billion Perth Children’s Hospital.

“Located only a few kilometers from three of the city’s largest hospitals, Quest West Perth is also within walking distance to the new Kings Square development, further increasing employment opportunities in the local area,” he said.
