Is this airline serving “imported dog food” in business class?

Questions are being raised over a meal listed in the business class menu of a China Eastern Airlines flight.

Digital creator, Conrad Wu posted an image on Facebook showing “Imported Dog Food” as a mean option on his flight last month.

Stuff Travel is investigating the post, but at this stage it’s unclear whether this is a new standard for airlines, or more likely a meal lost in translation.

“Apparently, economy class passengers only get domestic dog food,” one person commented.

China Eastern Airlines flies direct from Sydney-Hangzhou and from Sydney to Hangzhou via Auckland. It also flies from Brisbane and Shanghai.
