Grab the popcorn: Lonely Planet launches the Netflix of travel docos

With restrictions slowly easing up, now is the perfect time to get your clients (or yourself, we won’t judge) dosed up on some serious travel inspo.

The travel-savvy folk at Lonely Planet have launched a range of content to transport you from your couch to some of the world’s most amazing destinations.

Lonely Planet TV is a new content platform launched by the iconic brand, featuring every episode of GlobeTrekker, plus Treks in a Wild WorldPlanet Food and many more.

The shows are hosted by a gambit of experienced, Oscar-nominated travellers and will be available in their entirety for the first time with over 350 episodes of award-winning travel shows.

The best part? It’s all FREE until 1 June! After then, there will be a range of membership offers available which include discounts on Lonely Planet books and access to the brand’s Guides app.

“Though travel plans may be uncertain for many of us, we’re excited to bring the world into people’s homes and onto their devices via Lonely Planet TV,” Lonely Planet CEO Luis Cabrera said.

“We know that the outlook for travel is changing every day. Lonely Planet’s mission is to be there at every step of the journey, from dreaming until it’s time to hit the road again.”

The brand has also released a range of free PDF ebooks, which you can access HERE, packed with tips and activities to navigate home life.
