G Adventures reveals new global purpose specialist Vic/Tas

G Adventures is continuing to grow its sales team with the appointment of Kate Hudson to the role of global purpose specialist (GPS), Victoria and Tasmania.

Hudson said she is over the moon to be joining G Adventures at such an exciting time in the industry’s return.

“I’m ecstatic that the re-emergence of travel and new sales opportunities have led to my appointment at G Adventures.

“To be going back to my roots in small group adventure travel, with a company so focused on community, is very exciting. I am looking forward to re-introducing myself to our travel partners in Victoria and Tasmania, and to presenting our incredible portfolio of socially-enriched adventure trips,” Hudson said.

Matty Drummond, national sales manager for G Adventures, said Hudson joins with a wealth of experience in the travel industry across both overlanding and luxury adventure categories, so is perfectly positioned to take up the new role as the team rebuilds.

“Having Kate join us is a huge asset to our growing GPS team. Her proven industry experience means she has hit the ground running, keeping our valued partners up to speed on our trips and how they give back to local communities around the world,” Hudson said.

Hudson joins Nikki Woodward who is based in Brisbane and represents G Adventures in Queensland and northern New South Wales, and Ben Goschnick, who is the global purpose specialist dedicated to New South Wales and ACT, based in Sydney.

The company is now also on the lookout for a GPS to represent G Adventures in Western Australia as it builds its team back up to full-speed.
