Former Jetstar boss named Helloworld’s new CFO

Helloworld Travel has announced the appointment of David Hall as its new chief financial officer.

Hall will take up this role in early December and work together with current CFO Michael Burnett during a handover before Burnett’s departure to Intrepid in January 2020.

Hall has spent the last three years as CFO of Australian Pacific Airports Corporation. He has also previously worked at Qantas for eight years, during which he worked as Jetstar’s CFO and CEO for Australia and New Zealand.

Helloworld CEO and managing director Andrew Burnes said: “We are delighted that David Hall is joining the team at HLO.

“Mr Hall brings a wealth of experience across a range of industries and businesses including Qantas, WMC Resources, ANZ Bank, and Rio Tinto.”
