Dreaming of a white Christmas? These agents got the real deal

Dreaming of a white Christmas? Look no further.

It might be swelteringly hot in Australia this time of year, but in Germany it’s a snowy winter wonderland.

Thanks to Lufthansa, Design Hotels and the German National Tourist Office, these six lucky agents caught a break from the scorching summer sun Down Under and crossed to the other side of the world on a Christmas Market famil.

From 26 November to 4 December, the Christmas tour saw them visit the likes of Frankfurt, Cologne, Hamburg and the buzzing German capital of Berlin for an experience totally opposite to the Aussie Christmas seafood barbecue.

They saw Christmas markets in every city along the way, as well as incredible experiences like shopping in Hamburg, and the Fish Markets (perhaps something a little more familiar at this time of year).

There was also a cruise, a taste of culture at the Bucerius Kunst Forum, and an early Christmas dinner in Berlin as well as plenty of museums and their cultural fill with traditional food to boot.

But don’t worry, they made it back home for Christmas!
