So, in answer to the question, no the man in red cannot breathe underwater…yet – but he does have his scuba diving licence!

Showing off his skills, Santa took a dip in Ambassador Lagoon at Atlantis, The Palm.

The largest aquarium in the Middle East and Africa, this underwater wonderland is home to 65,0000 marine animals including Black Tip Reef Sharks, Hammerheads and the gigantic Leopard Ray.

He may not have gills, but he sure does have guts!

And Santa’s taking up residence at Atlantis, The Palm this holiday season, with the hotel transforming into a Christmas card brought to life, full to the brim with seasonal cheer!

Ambassador Lagoon is the centrepiece of a magnificent Winter Wonderland – the Festive Village pop up. It’s complete with a frozen lake, ski lift, windmill, sleighs, snow, Christmas trees, life-size gingerbread estates and daily strolls by Santa, the man himself, and friends!

And that’s just the icing on the (Christmas) cake!
