Best rated airlines and hotels for 2017

The annual TTG Travel awards, which have been recognising the best of Asia-Pacific’s travel industry since 1989, have wrapped up for another year.

Held in Bangkok, Thailand, The event honours stellar organisations and individuals in four categories; Travel Supplier, Travel Agency, Outstanding Achievement and Travel Hall of Fame.

American Airlines took out the Best North American Airline, while Best European Airline was awarded to Lufthansa German Airlines. Emirates won the Best Middle Eastern Airline.

As for us down in the APAC region, the title was scooped by Air New Zealand.

The Best Global Hotel Chain was won by AccorHotels while Ibis won the Best Budget Hotel.
