Destination weddings are all the buzz in 2023 and a new movie starring Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel has tapped into the hype, filming at ÀNI Dominican Republic.

Directed by Jason Moore, ‘Shotgun Wedding’ premieres on Prime video 27 January and features the story of Darcy (Jennifer Lopez) and Tom (Josh Duhamel), as they gather their families for their destination wedding that unravels through film.

ÁNI Dominican Republic lies on a stretch of coastline known as the Amber Riviera because of its rich amber deposits and golden beaches. The resort is perched on its own private peninsula, sheltered by two natural coves forming swimming bays on either side and is encompassed in nature.

Designed exclusively for a single group of guests, ÀNI Dominican Republic is an all-inclusive, private resort and a popular setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions.

ÀNI Dominican Republic can accommodate up to 28 guests across eight suites in two villas. The resort provides a range of facilities from arrival and events pavilions to fully equipped gym and serene spa, a children’s waterslide and swimming pool and tennis courts.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in different settings across the resort with tailored menus and free flowing beverages including juices, premium and rare spirits, cocktails, and wines..

Up to 12 spa treatments per day are included, as well as tennis lessons, guided cycling tours, movies by moonlight, cooking classes, cigar rolling lessons, rum tastings, non-motorized water sports, and more. Complimentary roundtrip airport transfers make traveling to ÀNI a breeze, and up to eight hours of complimentary babysitting and a daily children’s activity program keeps children well looked after and entertained.

Future ÀNI destinations include a new property in Anguilla scheduled to open in 2024 as well as further destinations in the Caribbean.
