TravelManagers reports 2013 sales spike

TravelManagers reports 2013 sales spike
By admin

TravelManagers has reported a sharp rise in sales despite increased competition and lower selling prices.

The home working network said revenue climbed 20% in 2013 with total commission rising 27%. The performance was bolstered by a 32% rise in cruise sales.

Chief executive Joe Araullo said the business “had come of age”.

“[The growth in 2013] has come at a time when increased competition and excessive capacity across many product categories resulted in lower average sales prices,” he said. “We couldn’t have achieved this without the strong and committed support of the network and each individual personal travel manager.”

Technology and agent training remained instrumental to its performance, while a dedicated famil program was also pivotal, Araullo said.

Last year saw TravelManagers hit the 400 agent mark.
