SQ increases Adelaide frequencies

Singapore Airlines will operate three additional weekly flights from Adelaide from July 2, taking services  to 10 per week.

Regional vice president South-West Pacific Subhas Menon said the extra capacity has been added to meet “prevailing demand” for travel to and from South Australia.

“With these services, Adelaide will benefit from greater connectivity to Singapore Airlines’ global network,” Menon said. “Customers can now enjoy optimal transit times of less than two hours on key routes throughout Europe and Asia.”

South Australian tourism minister Gail Gago welcomed the capacity increase as a “positive step” as the state government focuses on increasing international airline seats into Adelaide.

“South Australia has proven that extra services from carriers will be rewarded with demand for the state’s many attractions,” she said.
