Qantas Frequent Flyers will now be able to gain points by making reservations online at some of Australia’s best restaurants through a new online booking platform.

Qantas Loyalty has partnered with Dimmi.com.au, Australia’s largest restaurant marketing and booking network, to launch Qantas Restaurants.

Members of the loyalty scheme can now gain points through their reservations to over 2,000 affiliated restaurants via the new online platform, including high profile eateries across Australia such as Neil Perry’s Rockpool.

Qantas Loyalty chief executive, Lesley Grant, said Qantas Restaurants is another way for members to earn Qantas Points in their everyday activities.

“Our research has shown us that the majority of our members have great enthusiasm for dining on a regular basis and do so both personally and professionally.”

Dimmi chief executive, Stevan Premutico said, “The Australian public has become comfortable with discovering and booking their travel and leisure experiences online.”

“With the addition of online bookings for restaurants with Qantas, the customer can plan with confidence and earn Qantas Points at the same time.”

Qantas Restaurants is the latest in a series of new opportunities for members to earn and redeem Qantas Points, and follows on from Qantas Cash, Qantas Cruises and Aquire.
