We have all heard of whale watching – but two curious whales have turned the tables and gone people watching as they came up close for a good view of the  P&O Cruises Pacific Dawn.

The passengers and crew aboard the vessel recently anchored at Lifou in the Loyalty Islands before they caught the attention of the humpback whales.

The whales cruised together in parallel with the stationery superliner, giving passengers the opportunity to see them on their annual migration.
