The challenge for the industry is...Creating the next WOW experience for experienced travellers; yesterday’s amazing experience needs a next WOW moment.

The things I like about my job...Through travel, we have the opportunity to enable guests to ‘tick off their bucket list’ and explore the world, often fulfilling long held dreams.

And the frustrations are…The world is a living beauty, it will always change and be unpredictable, sometimes raining on travellers dreams.

If I didn’t work in travel I would be…Wishing I worked in travel.

Virgin or Qantas? Depending on short or long haul, but always looking at the value proposition!

My proudest moment was…Every time my children do well in their lives.

I try to relax by…Getting closer to nature; swim in the ocean or take a walk.

The last time I feared for my life was…Surfing by myself on a remote beach on the NSW north coast…overcast, late in the day, surf size beyond my capabilities!

If I can, I always try to avoid…Queues of any type, give me the express service line every day.

I really wish I had…A perfect smile for photos.

The best advice I’ve ever received was…Success and failure both reside in your own hands, juggle wisely.

I don’t understand why people…Think that honking a horn makes grid locked traffic move.

My greatest weakness is…That extra glass of wine with friends.

And my greatest strength is...Usually calm under pressure (usually!).

If I was prime minister I would…Focus on the education and health of our youngest generation.

If I won $1 million on the lottery I would…Be on a yacht with family and friends in the Mediterranean.

If I could be someone else for one day I would be a…An NFL quarterback in a winning Superbowl team.

I’ve always wanted to travel to…A trip to climb both Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya.

My favourite holiday was…My honeymoon, luxury in the Whitsundays, simply superb.
