Former Luxperience chief executive Rosemarie Sama is set to host a rival luxury trade show on the same dates as Luxperience 2013.

Sama today revealed details of her new event, Luxe Events and Travel Experiences (LETE), which she said would have a greater focus on experiential meetings and events, in response to demand from buyers.

Both Luxperience and LETE will be held in Sydney on September 2 to 4.

Meanwhile, Luxperience announced fomer managing director Helen Logas would step into the chief executive role with immediate effect.
