Weekend flights to cost more

Weekend flights to cost more
By admin

Cathay Pacific Airways has today introduced its new price differential for weekend departures from Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney to all destinations across all cabins.

A return airfare departing on Friday, Saturday or Sunday in all classes will now cost an additional $25 compared to flights departing Monday through Thursday.

This change follows the airline’s simplified fare structure released earlier this year, with the new weekend fares excluding promotions such as Earlybird sales.

Tactical fare promotions will have different rules and will be provided for each individual promotion at time of faresheet issue.

Cathay Pacific’s simplified fare structure has a range of stipulations, which includes stopovers in Hong Kong in both directions on every fare, mixed classes within the same cabin, no minimum stays, and a simplified network for the airline that groups destinations into three regions: Hong Kong; China, Asia, South Asia Sub-Continent; and Europe, North America, Africa, Middle East.
