Qantas recently hosted 9 top selling Helloworld agents on a famil to Dallas and Fort Worth alongside American Airlines, Visit Dallas and Visit Fort Worth.

Agents experienced a wide range of Texan experiences such as a visit to the Stockyards Championship Rodeo, a concert at Billy Bob’s Honky Tonk, a tour of AT&T Stadium, the Dallas Mavericks vs. Detroit Pistons game, visits to both the George W Bush Presidential Center and the 6th Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza.

Agents were also in for some tasty treats, visiting traditional Texan BBQ Terry Black’s Barbeque in Dallas and Tex-Mex icon Joe T Garcia’s in Fort Worth.

Summarising the unforgettable trip was Hunter Travel Group agent Jeff Taylor from Perth who wrote the following cheeky limerick:

I did this famil to Dallas Fort Worth

A trip with much merriment and mirth.

    We took in the Rodeo,

and a vain search for Picasso.

But geez it’s a long way from Perth.”

    How fun!
