$45 Flights! Virgin Australia slings half-a-million domestic and international fares from less than the cost of a taxi

    Virgin Australia has today released more than 500,000 sale fares across its entire network from as low as $45 one-way*.

    The bargain fares can be booked to popular destinations including Bali, Tokyo, Queenstown, Fiji, Byron Bay, Gold Coast, Hobart and more, until midnight AEST next Monday 23 October 2023, for select travel dates between 16 January and 29 August 2024.

    With the sale fares starting from less than the cost of a taxi ride, Australians feeling the pinch from the rising cost of living now have hundreds of thousands of opportunities to visit family and friends, make that beach getaway a reality or jet-set abroad in 2024.

    Virgin Australia Chief Commercial Officer, Dave Emerson said the network-wide sale is giving Australians more opportunity to plan a holiday in 2024.

    “2024 is just around the corner and now is the time to plan ahead and score a bargain airfare with over half-a-million seats now available from just $45 one-way,” said Mr Emerson.

    “Australians are looking to drive their dollar further in the current environment and this sale is giving them hundreds of thousands of great-value opportunities to travel to their favourite holiday spots next year.

    “With every single Virgin Australia route now on sale, popular destinations can be booked for less than the cost of a taxi ride, so we are encouraging travellers to get in fast as these incredible fares will not last long,” he said.

    Virgin Australia sale fares include Velocity Frequent Flyer Points and Status Credits earn, helping travellers to climb the Status ranks or build that Points balance faster. Velocity is free to join, here.
