Travel Agent Finder praises the industry’s resilience for its second birthday
Edited by Travel Weekly

It’s been 2 years since Travel Agent Finder launched to the trade.

At the time, the Australian borders were closed, the industry was decimated, and the industry was ready to get back to doing what it loved.

Owner of Travel Agent Finder, Anna Shannon, says, “It’s been a wild ride and I am so grateful to all our agent members and the industry-wide support we have received.

“It is through collaboration with individual agents, agency head offices, tourism boards, suppliers and of course the trade media, that we have come so far in such a short time.”

Since its launch, Travel Agent Finder has:

    • Had over 900 members join
    • Added over 160 specialist criteria for travellers to filter and find their match
    • Facilitated thousands of connections between travellers, agents, and suppliers
    • Grown a monthly reach of over 60,000 through social media and email marketing
    • Received over 1000 reviews of agents submitted to the website
    • Showcased over 360 agent blogs, experiences, and offers to travellers
    • Added over 400 verified specialist training badges to agent’s profiles
    • Uploaded over 350 trade updates, links, and resources to the agent’s area

Travel Agent Finder has gathered together a selection of birthday wishes from agent members and industry partners, which the company says is an incredible reminder of what we can do when we collaborate and support each other. Check out the birthday messages here. You can add yours too!

Shannon states, “TAF has created a home for independent travel agents to market their expertise and build their reviews. This helps travellers make an informed and unbiased decision and travel better – with an expert!

“As a sole operator, I am proud of what I have achieved to date. Look out, there’s plenty more to come!”
