The Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) and the Vanuatu Post Ltd have relaunched the Vanuatu Volcano Post Box at the top of Mt. Yasur on Tanna Island.

The attraction is recognised as the only post box in the world standing near the crater of an active volcano! If you are seeking novelty and adventure, this bucket-list experience is just one more reason to visit Vanuatu.

Branded with the Vanuatu Tourism Office’s brand messaging, “Answer the Call of Vanuatu, the Vanuatu Post Yasur Volcano Box gives travellers the opportunity to post their letters and postcards and photograph their special Vanuatu moments as they glance over the wide ash plain and rumbling Mt. Yasur.

Accessed by a short, easy, climb, travellers will find themselves at the top of Mt. Yasur’s impressive crater for a once-in-a-lifetime front-row firework display.
