Travellers can score domestic fares like Sydney – Ballina from $49, Adelaide – Hobart from $49,  Melbourne – Adelaide from $59, Brisbane – Newcastle from $59 , Cairns – Gold Coast from $69, and Sydney – Perth from $159, just to name a few.

Or for those keen to get overseas ASAP, international highlights from the sale include Melbourne – Bali from $479, Brisbane – Fiji from $489, Sydney – Bali from $509, Sydney – Fiji from $459 and Brisbane – Fiji from $489.

Virgin Australia will soon resume short-haul international services, with a schedule of services to Fiji, Bali and New Zealand, commencing with flights to Fiji on 16 December 2021.

“More than half a million cheap fares are up for grabs on domestic travel over the busy December and January period while the sale on international flights to Bali and Fiji covers next year’s Easter holidays,” a spokesperson for Virgin Australia said.

“Not only are we motivated to reunite loved ones, we’re also driven to provide a boost to local tourism and help more of our passionate team members get back to flying.

“Virgin Australia is offering free booking flexibility to change or cancel to travel credits with no fees for all domestic bookings from now until 30 April 2022, and international bookings until 31 December 2022, so you can book your next holiday with confidence.”
