Rapid growth for QT

Rapid growth for QT
By admin

QT Hotels has revealed its rapidly expanding portfolio is set for further growth with its first Melbourne property currently in the design phase.

September will see the brand’s tally rise to three with the opening of its Sydney flagship, on the site of the historic Gowings Building and the heritage-listed State Theatre.

With its first hotel, QT Gold Coast, only fully operational since January and the unveiling of its second property in Port Douglas just this week, it marks an eventful period for the fledgling chain which is owned by Amalgamated Holdings Ltd (AHL).

“Three properties within 12 months – given the state of the industry, that’s a big statement of confidence in our brand,” AHL chief executive David Seargant told Travel Today.

He declined to reveal when its Melbourne property was likely to open.
