Contiki launch global TikTok challenge with a chance to become official TikTok 2020 creator
Combining the hottest social network to burst onto the global stage, and a drive to further connect the emotion of music and travel, Contiki has launched a worldwide competition to find its 2020 TikTok creator through the power of ‘friendship’.
The launch of Contiki’s TikTok channel @ContikiTravel is being celebrated with the ultimate competition for young fans of the platform with a passion for travel.
The competition asks entrants to create and share videos that encapsulate their friendships whilst travelling utilising the native features of the TikTok platform including stickers, filters, background music and augmented reality.
Contiki will be launching the comp and channel using some of the epic moments captured during their recent Find Your People influencer campaign, which saw nine strangers including Flex Mami come together to road test Contiki’s new Rome to Barcelona by train trip.
The prize will be a year-long content creator ambassadorship with Contiki, travelling to some of their most popular destinations to capture content bespoke to TikTok that shows the power of shared experiences and travelling with like-minded people.
To take part, entrants must share their most creative moments and content on their own TikTok channels, making sure to include the hashtags #contikifindyourpeople and #tiktoktravel.
Contiki will then reshare its favourites every fortnight, thus entering them into the grand final. The voting will then be put in the hands of Contiki’s army of social followers, with the winner being named in January 2020.
