Vietjet ups Sydney & Melbourne capacity following increased demand

Vietjet today announced it will increase the frequency of flights on its Sydney and Melbourne routes to service increased demand from passengers travelling between Australia and Vietnam.

Vietjet will add flights to its Melbourne to Ho Chi Minh City route from 17 September 2023, increasing from three to four return flights weekly.

Direct flights will depart at 12:30am from Melbourne every Monday (additional flight), Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, landing in Ho Chi Minh City at 06:30am (local time). Flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Melbourne will depart at 10:55am every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday (additional flight), landing in Melbourne at 10:35 pm.

Vietjet will add flights to its Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City route from 18 September 2023, increasing from three to four return flights weekly. Direct flights will depart at 11:15am from Sydney every Monday, Tuesday (additional flight), Thursday and Saturday, landing in Ho Chi Minh City at 4:30pm (local time). Flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Sydney will depart at 7:30pm
every Monday (additional flight), Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, landing in Sydney at 07:20am.

Australians can access promotional fares on the Vietjet website every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, including Eco Class return fares from $200 on routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Australia (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane) until 25 October 2023.

The first direct flight from Brisbane to Ho Chi Minh City will commence in June 2023.

When registering for the Vietjet SkyJoy loyalty program, passengers can use reward SkyPoints to redeem vouchers for Vietjet and services from 250 favorite brands of dining, resort and shopping in Vietnam.

This can be done by the SkyJoy mobile app or the SkyJoy website.
