    Travel Associates hosted its annual, Global Luxury Business Leader’s Conference in Singapore over the weekend in the lead-up to ILTM Asia Pacific.

    Held on Sunday 18 June, at Shangri-La Singapore, the conference themed The Greatest Brand, saw a series of inspirational sessions from industry leaders, the senior management team and partner roundtables with major event sponsors.

    Around 100 delegates attended the event from Australia and New Zealand including 65 Travel Associates business leaders, supplier partners and senior management of the brand.Speakers included the global managing director of FCTG Luxury Leisure, Danielle Galloway; general manager of Travel Associates AU & NZ, Rachel Kingswell; portfolio director for ILTM, Alison Gilmore and senior Vice president of Virtuoso, Michael Londregan.

    The conference themes were focused on growth and future thinking and saw exceptional presentations from Richard Todd, senior director of HR and recruitment for Hilton Asia Pacific, and Wendie Lee, global head of technology products of FCTG Luxury Leisure.

    Following the global conference, all 65 Travel Associates Business Leaders went on to spend the week at ILTM Asia Pacific, generously hosted by the event, representing the largest brand group to attend the luxury trade showcase.

    Currently celebrating its 25th year in business, Travel Associates is the largest boutique travel agency in Australia and New Zealand. The brand has seen its best year ever across all performance metrics including record turnover, sales growth, booking size and staff retention.

    To close out the day, guests enjoyed a cocktail event at the panoramic rooftop bar Smoke and Mirrors at the National Gallery.

    The conference was preceded by a welcome dinner and Saké tasting at Japanese restaurant KOMA in Marina Bay Sands on Saturday night.
