Tammy Van Exan has joined TTC Tour Brands as national groups sales manager.

Van Exan’s appointment comes as groups business ramps up and TTC gears up its dedicated Groups division to align with the demand and sales opportunities currently being seen in both the Australia and New Zealand markets.

Van Exan has over 15 years in the industry and is no stranger to TTC as she has previously been in the business as a sales manager across many of the TTC brands. Her experience also includes five years as a travel agent.

TTC Tour Brands has invested heavily in its Groups division in the last 12 months, positioning it to be a robust player in the Group touring space in 2024 and beyond. Supporting its dedicated Groups reservation team, TTC Groups ran an education series in May, Spotlight on Groups, and launched the TTC Groups Network, an exclusive network for Groups specialist agents to join and have access to exclusive offers, dedicated training, and updates.

Of her role Van Exan said: “I am extremely excited to be back at TTC specialising in our Groups business to nurture and grow our trade sales and partnerships in this sector. The TTC Tour Brands offers tailored and customised Groups for any customer segment or interest and having the breadth of brands and products creates an agents’ one-stop shop.

“I’m especially excited to be working for a company that is actively trying to make a positive impact on the places that they visit through the Make Travel Matter actions and experiences.”

Toni Ambler, TTC Tour Brands managing director added: “Having Tammy back in the TTC cohort to focus on our Group sales our commitment of being easy to sell and easy to work with in this specialist segment.

“Reaching existing and new Group touring considerers to help them book their dream trip with our key partners, will be a key focus for Tammy in addition to building out wider Groups trade engagement strategies.”

Travel agents can login to the TTC’s Travel Agent Platform (TAP) to find out more about joining the TTC Groups Network and access Groups Spotlight resources.
