Sydney-based Livn partners with Guestlogix

Livn has unveiled a new strategic partnership with travel commerce platform Guestlogix.

The deal will see the tours and activities company integrate its API into Guestlogix – an airline software provider – to allow its customers “true” last-minute, last-seat availability in real time.

In turn, Guestlogix’s airline clients will be able to give their passengers the ability to make tour and activity bookings in-flight, and start their adventure as soon as they land.

Guestlogix has worked with the likes of Etihad Airways and flydubai, and has been on the lookout for a “robust” and “global” network of tours and activities.

Livn, according to Guestlogix vice president of growth Rachel Taylor, is the natural fit for the company’s next chapter.

“[Guestlogix’s] main goal is to bring airlines extra, better services,” Taylor said. “Livn is traveller-centric with real-time availability and proof they put customers first. We share the same objective.”

Speaking about the partnership with Guestlogix, Livn CEO Mark Rizzuto said the partnership represents an excellent opportunity for both companies.

“Our shared commitment to real-time availability makes us ideal partners,” he said.

“We’re excited to look to the future together with the Guestlogix team to provide a completely unbeatable experience.”

Livn claims to be the largest global network of tours and activities, and offers live pricing, availability and bookings.

Through a single integration with the Livn API, partners can automatically connect to 15,000 tour operators with over 700,000 day and multi-day tours and activities from all over the globe.
