The long wait is finally over! Switzerland is no longer just a dream, but a dream coming true.

Australians craving for their Swiss fix can now not only look forward to being welcomed back with wide-open arms, but also a host of brand new and thoroughly enriching experiences.

From the snowy peaks and glassy lakes to soft rolling hills and quaint picture-perfect, postcard-like villages, Switzerland is ready for your clients.

Clean & Safe

To ensure the health and safety of locals, businesses and visitors alike, the ‘Clean & Safe’ label gives people the confidence and assurance that the venues they are visiting and service providers they are transacting with are adhering to the necessary protective protocols and recommendations.

Winter Magic Tour

As with any visit to Switzerland, panoramic rail journeys are a major highlight and a must-do experience. For snow enthusiasts heading over, the new Winter Magic Tour is the best way to take in all of the seasonal and picturesque highlights.

The Swiss love benches in beautiful locations and love to have a rest on them while hiking or being outdoors, and so does Roger Federer.

As part of Switzerland Tourism’s cooperation with Federer, the tennis legend is now virtually inviting our communities worldwide to a new challenge: the My Swiss Bench challenge!

The country with the most votes will win its own bench dedicated to the country, which will be placed on top of the famous Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe at 3,454 metres above sea level.

Also, everyone placing a vote will enter a competition to win a seven-day trip to Switzerland. Enter the challenge now HERE and let’s get Australia to the top!

To learn more about what Switzerland will look like as a destination for Aussie tourists in 2022 and beyond, tune in to the European Showcase 2021 on Wednesday 3 November.

There will be a choice of two identical sessions available for attendees to join on at 10am or 3pm (AEST), and the free virtual event will feature updates from the Austrian National Tourist Office, Visit Flanders, Tourism Ireland, the Italian National Tourist Board, Visit Monaco and Switzerland Tourism.

And, with amazing prizes on offer, the European Showcase will be a virtual experience not to be missed!
