Social media influencer surprised airline complaint goes viral, despite posting about it multiple times on TikTok

    The daughter of a popular reality television show star in the United States says it’s “insane” that her post about an aircraft with a broken window has made headlines…after sharing it with her tens of thousands of followers.

    Despite being an influencer, Ally Shapiro is seemingly surprised at the power of sharing such content online.

    Shapiro is the daughter of Jill Zarin, the star of Real Housewives of New York.

    She originally posted on TikTok a month ago about her experience on an “extremely expensive international flight” on Delta Airlines. It’s reported that it was discovered during flight that the window shade was broken.

    @allyshaps

    When you pay for an extremely expensive international flight thats 8 hours long you would think a window shade would be included…they offered me tape and safety books (ironically) so i could tape it myself. I used to be a very loyal delta customer, but this was just insane. They made us remove it before landing because management would be upset…shouldnt they be upset for having a broken window and not letting us switch seast?! #delta #deltafail #airplanetiktok @delta

    Shapiro repeatedly states in multiple videos that her window was broken and needed to be repaired using tape.

    The window of the aircraft was of-course completely intact, it was the window shade that was the problem.

    Some comments on social media have asked why Shapiro booked a window seat if she wasn’t planning on looking at the view.

    Don’t a buy window seat then..🤯,” Leo said.

    Reports say the airfare was around $4000, but that changed to $2000 in recent updates.
