Reality TV star goes “mental” after stranger slaps her son on Dubai flight

British reality TV star and social media influencer, Billie Faiers, aired her fury after a stranger smacked her then 3-year-old son on a flight home from Dubai.

Faiers, who became famous after appearing on The Only Way is Essex and Big Brother, recalled the incident on her podcast, The Sam & Billie Show, which she runs with her sister.

She said her son was not exactly on his best behaviour during the flight and kicked the back of the seat in front of her.

“Don’t get me wrong, this is really annoying,” Faiers said.

“There was a woman sat in front, a bit older, he kicked the back of her seat, I was like, ‘Oh god, so sorry’. Then he was having a bit of a tantrum, crying, she turned round and she smacked him.

“I went, ‘Excuse me!’ I stood up … you know when you have the red mist and you’re shaking. She smacked him on his arm. I think she was German or something, when I mean I kicked off, I was going mental.”

The drama got everyone on the flight’s attention, including her husband who was dozed off a few rows in front.

According to Faiers, an air stewardess eventually managed to calm the situation.

Now, while we can all understand how annoying it is to be on a flight with a screaming child, smacking an infant is not exactly good flight etiquette.
