Pullman Sydney Hyde Park shows off its new paint job with a difference

World Pride may be behind us, but Pullman Sydney Hyde Park continues to celebrate the LGTBQI+ community with the launch of an exhibition by queer artist Brian Connolly at the hotel’s newly opened gallery.

Located in a dedicated space within the hotel lobby, the Brian Connolly exhibition is the first to feature in new gallery space dedicated to supporting queer artists.

A Sydney local, Brian creates art that is characterised by etherealism and psychedelia, and which explores the way in which we are linked to one another and the natural world.

His highly acclaimed mural style work has been commissioned by the flagship MECCA cosmetics store in Sydney’s CBD, as well as for acclaimed hair and beauty salon Edwards & Co.

His latest installation within the Pullman Sydney Hyde Park uses both the physical building and hung canvases to display his work. All artwork is available for purchase.

The Brian Connolly exhibition is open daily to the public and will run until 30th June 2023.
