Ovolo unveils new guest perks offering freedom and flexibility

Ovolo Hotels has unveiled a new policy aimed at offering more freedom and flexibility to its guest experience.

The policy, ‘Care.Free.’, covers three major points of importance to guests who book directly with Ovolo: best rates, flexible cancellations, and ‘The Perks’.

By booking directly, guests will automatically be entitled to the best and lowest rate possible.

Even if rates drop before check-in, Ovolo will price match, and if the room has been prepaid, then guests will get the difference in credit to spend at Ovolo.

The company promises a diversion from strict and rigid cancellation policies we’ve all been plagued by of late, whether a guest needs to change the date of their stay or cancel their booking altogether, Ovolo is happy to do so for the smallest of fees.

Naturally, the fabulous Ovolo Perks will be included when guests book direct.

What are these mysterious ‘Perks’ we keep referring to you ask? Complimentary breakfast, superspeed Wi-Fi, complimentary daily social hour, complimentary in-room minibar, self-service laundry, 24-hour gym, complimentary welcome loot bag, and all-day snacks.

“Effortless living is at the core of Ovolo, and by listening to our guests, one common theme kept arising and that was ‘FREEDOM’,” Girish Jhunjhnuwala, Ovolo’s founder and CEO said.

“We believe hotel guests deserve to feel a sense of freedom during their stay – freedom to enjoy WiFi, freedom to eat and drink their mini-bar dry, freedom to switch or change a booking if needed without the stress, and to know they will always get the best rate. Ultimately it’s the freedom to enjoy yourself, no permission required.”

In an effort to refresh its presence in Australia in time for travel’s bounce-back, Ovolo recently appointed three new key positions, welcoming Francis Graham as its new marketing communications manager in Australia, Mel Tan as food and beverage marketing communications manager, and Kim Pham as group digital marketing manager.

The company also promoted two current marketing team members with Victoria Ko now appointed as assistant marketing communications manager (Hong Kong) after being recognised for her instrumental role in forming partnerships for Ovolo’s Quarantine packages and contributing to the relaunch of Veda and Te Quiero Muncho in Hong Kong.

Jonathan Jeremy has also been promoted to marketing communications manager for Mamaka By Ovolo in Bali after showcasing driven excellence and creative ideas during a turbulent period and a predominantly domestic market.
