NTIAs kick off tomorrow night! Here’s all the details for the event

The long-awaited National Travel Industry Awards (NTIAs) are nearly here with the night of nights kicking off tomorrow evening.

With Singapore Airlines as its major sponsor, the NTIA 2022 event at Sydney’s International Convention & Exhibition Centre will celebrate the best of the best in the travel industry across 31 traditional and new award categories, recognising everyone from Rookie of the year to suppliers, consultants, sales and Best Dressed.

With MC Richard Reid, entertainment will include live band, an aerialist and a fireworks display to mark the resurgence of the Australian travel industry.

“The AFTA team are so excited to welcome everyone to a well-deserved celebration of our industry at the NTIAs tomorrow night,” Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) CEO Dean Long said.

“While there can only be one winner in each category, it’s important to remember the Australian travel industry has more than survived, we’re thriving post-COVID. This is a testament to the ongoing work of every travel business and travel professional.

“As an industry we’ve supported each other through a time that felt isolating, frustrating and heart-breaking. That’s what tomorrow night’s NTIAs mean to me.

“The AFTA team have worked incredibly hard to meticulously plan tomorrow night’s celebration. With a packed program, I encourage everyone to suit up and slip into the NTIAs well before 6:30pm to allow for any wet weather transport delays.”
