Link Travel signs two new top agencies

Link Travel Group, the new supergroup of the Australian travel industry, has secured two new agencies to join the exclusive buying group that is shaking up the industry.

Eden Corporate Travel officially started its partnership with Link on 1 September, while Travel Beyond Group will commence their membership in early 2023.

Launched less than four months ago as a joint venture between Flight Centre Travel Group (FLT), The Goldman Group and Spencer Group of Companies, Link Travel Group has grown from strength to strength, welcoming agencies such as Reho Travel, Platinum Travel Group, Mary Rossi Travel and Mosman Travel.

This invitation-only member group is connecting a carefully selected group of leading Australian travel agencies to provide an innovative and compelling offering via travel supply, technology, and business operations.

In addition to bringing his agency on board, Travel Beyond CEO Tim Lane will join Link Travel Group’s Advisory Board.

Lane has been selected due to his skills and expertise in a wide range of travel specialisations, including sporting, events, entertainment and corporate travel, which complement the existing Advisory Board members’ expertise.

“From the start, Link Travel Group identified both Eden Corporate Travel and Travel Beyond Group as exceptional travel businesses, owned and run by highly respected and skilled industry leaders,” Link’s general manager, Scott Darlow, said.

“Their objectives align with Link Travel Group’s goals of delivering transparency and greater returns while driving travel industry leadership and success.

“We are delighted to welcome both agencies into the Link family and look forward to building a mutually beneficial partnership over the years to come.”
