Live on the sea in 2023 with MV Narrative

Bored of life on land? One English woman has sold her Buckinghamshire house to move onto the MV Narrative full time.

59 year old Mimi Bland recently offloaded her £500,000 ($AUD 908,000) home in the U.K to fund her new life on board the luxury Storylines’ cruise ship.

The ship completes a world trip once every three years, calling into ports around the world on a regular basis.

MV Narrative is a unique, residential cruise ship that is designed to be an alternative way of life for those who are looking simplify life a little and enjoy all the perks on board.

“I want to see the world while working and without ever leaving the comfort of my own home and meet lots of other ambitious people who are looking for a new life of excitement and fun,” Bland, said.

“I am 60 next year and it is time for a re-set. I love my life helping highly successful executives to de-stress their lives and achieve a better work-life balance.”

“But I realised that I needed to do that for myself and embark on an exciting new journey of adventure and discovery.”

Storylines’ impressive MV Narrative has room for 1000 residents living in 547 furnished residences that range from one bedroom cabins to 2000 square foot penthouses.

Asking prices for the rooms begin round £850,000 ($AUD 1.55 million) and rise to as much as £6.5 million ($AUD 11.8 million) for the top end apartments on board.

The ship itself is home to a 10,000 book library, cinema, art studio, three swimming pools and sundecks, 20 bars and restaurants as well as a microbrewery.

There is also an outdoor running track, golf simulators, personal watercraft (e.g. jet skis), a health care centre, fully equipped hospital and an anti-aging clinic on board.
