Hotel chain offers to “save your marriage” in witty post-lockdown campaign

A study on the impacts of COVID-19 by Relationships Australia, the leading national provider of relationship support services, found that 42 per cent of people had experienced a negative change in their relationship with their partner during the last few months.

And now a witty new campaign from a hotel chain has arrived that plays on relationship blues in the era of a global pandemic.

Virgin Hotels has released a new TVC suggesting a stay at one of its properties could be just the tonic if your love life has taken a beating during lockdown.

The witty campaign is the work of New York advertising agency Joan Creative, and features a plummy British voiceover with a wonderfully strange 80s vibe about it.
