Hilton’s Garden Inn brand is coming to Brisbane

Hilton has signed on with Spring Hill Property Group to manage a new Queensland hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn Brisbane City Centre North.

The new-build 129-room property will mark Hilton’s fifth Hilton Garden Inn hotel in the pipeline for Australasia with construction expected to start this year.

Guy Phillips, Hilton’s senior vice president of development in Asia and Australasia, said the company has been actively seeking to introduce more of its brands to Queensland, with this latest addition marking its fifth hotel in the state and its second in Brisbane alongside the Hilton Brisbane on Elizabeth Street.

“The signing of Hilton Garden Inn Brisbane City Centre North builds on our recent announcement of Hilton Garden Inn Sydney Kingswood in late 2021 and is testament to our commitment to our organic growth strategy, which sees us bring the right brands to the right locations, at the right time,” Phillips said.

Located 13 kilometres from the Brisbane Airport, the hotel will be positioned in the north of Brisbane’s CBD providing easy walking distance to many city centre attractions as well as to Fortitude Valley, Brisbane’s nightlife capital.

Designed by Hayes Anderson Lynch Architects, the hotel will feature 129 guest rooms, a full-service restaurant and bar, meeting facilities, a fitness room, and The Shop, a 24-hour grab-and-go retail store where essentials, as well as local beverages and tasty treats, are available.

Hilton Garden Inn Brisbane City Centre North will join 28 operating and 12 pipeline Hilton properties throughout Australasia.
